Mandy's care career began in 1995, eventually becoming Tanglewood's CEO in February 2022. Her visions and values put residents and team members first – a smile on their faces means a smile on hers!

Cheryl Shorter

Regional Compliance Manager

Cheryl started her career in care in 1999, gaining expertise specifically in dementia care. Cheryl believes that every care home should feel like home, not just for our residents, but friends and families visiting.

Tracey Klue

Avocet House Home Manager

A care giver for over 28 years, Tracey is responsible for the health, comfort, safety, happiness and wellbeing of our residents. She enjoys contact with the residents most of all – talking, listening and laughing with them.

Emma Johnson

Avocet House Care Manager

Emma has been in the industry for over 23 years and at Avocet since November 2020. Empathy and compassion are very important to Emma, "I know I’m doing a good job when I put a smile the residents' faces, this makes my job so rewarding and worthwhile"
